Associação dos Produtores de Café do IBO

Café do Ibo, grown mainly on Ibo Island, part of the Quirimbas Archipelago, Café do Ibo has smaller beans than Arabica and Robusta, commonly referred to as "wild coffee." This endemic Mozambican variety has been present since the 17th century.

 Please replace the current logo with the logo of the Associação dos Produtores de Café do Ibo.

And remove the logo of the association on the Members page.

Café Namúli is a source of income for forest communities in Namúli Mountain. The company collaborates with beekeepers to introduce coffee production in an agroforestry system, using native honey-producing trees for shade between Arabica coffee rows.

The Gorongosa Coffee production is a large-scale agroforestry initiative covering 1,800 hectares and involving more than 950 families living in the Gorongosa Mountain. It is the largest Arabica coffee production in Mozambique. The program benefits families and protects the mountain’s biodiversity.

It is a coffee produced in an Agroforestry or Syntropic System, intercropped with native forest species, various fruit trees, and food crops. The goal is to restore the degraded forest of Chimanimani National Park, improve the income of families living around the park, and help them adapt to the effects of climate change.
